T-SHIRT SOCCER
BOYS AND GIRLS IN KINDERGARTEN THROUGH SECOND GRADE
What we do:
The T-shirt Soccer league is a league for boys and girls in kindergarten through grade two. The kids will be introduced to the game of soccer in a casual, non-competitve environment, which helps the kids learn basic soccer skills while having fun. We have a 45 minute skill session followed by a 45 minute game. We shorten the field for the game and there is ample time for each kid to play. Regardless of skill level all players will get equal playing time. There will be a water break between the skills and the game.
Who Runs It:
T-shirt soccer is run by a dedicated group of volunteers. So please consider volunteering to coach. You don’t need soccer experience only willingness to help and an enthusiasm for our kids. Please indicate your interest on the registration form and we will contact you before the beginning of the season. You will coach your child’s team.
When and Where:
Due to the overwhelming number of kids who want to play t-shirt soccer, we have added an additional session. Important: Before registering, please consult the time preference of your kid's prospective team mates. Once you register, we CAN NOT change your child's session. Thank-you for your understanding. Each session will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Among waitlisted children, priority will be given to parent's volunteering to coach.
Session 1 will be on Sunday's from 10:30am - 12 noon.
Session 2 will be on Sunday's from 12:15- 1:45.
Both sessions will start on Sunday, September 14, 2007 and run through Sunday, November 2, 2008. All participants will receive a trophy after an ice cream party on the last day. Our league takes place down at the Narberth Park on Haverford Ave. and Wynnewood Rd.
Equipment:
Each participant must bring a water bottle, shin guards and his own #4 soccer ball. Please mark all items for identification purposes. The league will provide shirts. Players are responsibile to bring his or her own drink. We will no longer have snack due to the feedback we have received.
Parents must remain at the Narberth Field at all times while your child is participating in the Narberth T-shirt Soccer Program. We cannot allow “drop-off” of children.
Registration Fee: $50.00
Is honored on a first come, first serve basis. Among waitlisted children, priority will be given to parents volunteering to coach. Last year T-shirt soccer closed so register early.

An adult must register each player
Payment for each registration is by credit card ONLY: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are accepted. NO CASH OR CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED.
