NAA Programs - Girl Power Soccer

Girl Power Soccer 2011- FALL PROGRAM
Girls in Grades 3 through 5

What we do:

The Girl Power Soccer league is a league for girls in grade three through grade five to continue playing soccer in a non-competitive environment. Girls will be introduced to offensive and defensive positions, including goalie, to ensure full exposure to all facets of the game. We have a 30 minute skill session followed by a one hour game. We shorten the field for the game and play with 6-8 players to give players more touches on the ball. Regardless of skill level all players will get equal playing time.

Who Runs It:

Commissioner Bill Henderson. If you have questions about the program or want to coach...

Contact Bill by clicking HERE.

Girl Power soccer is run by a dedicated group of volunteers. So please consider volunteering to coach. You don’t need soccer experience only willingness to help and an enthusiasm for our kids.

You will coach your child’s team.

The NAA is required to have a background check on each head and assistant coach. You will print and complete the background check form and place it in a sealed envelope. You will bring that envelope to the coaches meeting which will be held before the start of the season. The sealed envelopes will be collected and handed to Tom Grady for processing.
