NAA Programs - American Legion Baseball

American Legion Baseball Teams

Since 1925, The American Legion has sponsored a nationwide youth baseball program. The Harold D. Speakman Post 356 in Narberth and Narberth Athletic Association continue to sponsor the following programs:

Senior American Legion-

Open to young men ages 16 to 19 (born in 1991 or later for the 2010 season) who live in Narberth and Lower Merion Township. The Narberth team competes in the Main Line Senior Legion League in PA District 3 with teams from Broomall, Clifton, Haverford, Norwood, Springfield and Wayne.

Cadet Legion-

Open to young men who are , who live in Lower Merion Township and Narberth. To be eligible to play for the Cadet legion team players cannot turn 16 years old before April 30, 2010. If a player turns 17 years old on May 1, 2010 or later he is eligible to play.The team is being coached by Dave Moyer. You can e-mail Dave by clicking HERE.

Junior Legion

Narberth competes in the Main Line Junior Legion league. To be eligible to play for the Junior legion team a player cannot turn 16 years old before April 30, 2010. If a player turns 16 years old on May 1, 2010 or later he is eligible to play.

Prep Legion

The 13 year olds prep legion team is Narberth AA's novice legion team.To be eligible to play for the Prep legion team players cannot turn 13 years old before April 30, 2010. If a player turns 13 years old on May 1, 2010 or later he is eligible to play.
