Code of Conduct for Volunteer Coaches:
Coaches are expected to be role models for good sportsmanship at all times. You will: encourage competition; support the development of skills and understanding of the game for players regardless of his or her skill level; foster a supportive team-first environment; and ensure every player has fun.
Equitable playing time for all players is mandatory. Additionally, you will ensure every player gets at least one offensive “touch” - or play designed with him or her as the primary target - during the game.
Abuse of referees is expressly prohibited. Issues with calls should be handled face-to-face in a respectful manner. Issues with a specific referee or disputes over interpretation of rules should be addressed privately with league administrators. Any coach deemed to be abusing a referee or using abusive language may be assessed a “technical” penalty in the form of a lost down. A second infraction will result in your being asked to leave the premises by league administrators.
Parents:
Parents are expected to be role models for good sportsmanship at all times. Respect for our volunteer coaches, youth referees, and players on both teams is required. Interaction with coaches during the game, abuse of referees, and use of abusive language is expressly prohibited. Any spectator deemed to be behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave the premises by league administrators.
Players:
Players will demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times. Respect your coaches and referees. Support your teammates. Play to win. And most of all – Have Fun!

The skills assessment is MANDATORY. We will have three stations which every player will participate: running, passing the football and catching the football. The coaches will be present. A parent will register the player and the player will be given a number. The commissioner of the division will give instructions before the skills assessment begins and the player will be told when to move to the next station. After the assessment the coaches will draft each team. The purpose of the assessment is to try and have balanced teams. For this reason we do not honor teammate requests. Each player will be contacted by a coach by Monday or Tuesday after the Skills Assessment.
No refunds will be issued after the skills assessment

Useful Tips about our League:
1) Most of the kids wear plastic (no metal) cleats.
2) Each player is given a reversible jersey and a belt with flags (coaches will collect these after every practice and game).
