SKILL ASSESSMENTS SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY MARCH 13, 2010 DOWN AT NARBERTH PLAYGROUND FOR THE MAJORS AND MINORS DIVISIONS HAS MOVED TO

ST. JOSEPH'S UNIVERSITY

With Narberth Playground still soft and muddy as it is still

recovering from the winter's snow, the Saturday, March 13 skill assessments have been moved from Narberth playground to St. Joseph's University. The skills assessments will still be held between 10 AM and 12 PM. The skills assessments are for the Majors and Minors divisions ONLY. There is no skills assessments for t-ball or rookies.

Directions: When you cross City Line Ave from Old Lancaster Ave onto 54th St, make a right into the first driveway next to St. Joe's and park in that lot (you could also park on 54th St). Walk from the parking lot to the Hagen Arena. The gym entrance for the skills assessment is to the left of the Hagen Arena entrance. There will be directions posted when you walk inside the gym directing your child where to go for the assessments. Please direct any questions to Greg Knox by clicking here.

 

March 7, 2010- The Registration site for Narberth Baseball is currently closed due to technical difficulties. We expect that it will up again tomorrow, Monday, March 8, 2010 by the afternoon. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

 

Our Cal Ripken or Majors division is for boys and girls ages 11and 12. The child must be 11 years old by May 1, 2010. This competitive division plays in an in house Narberth league and well as intraleague and tournament baseball. For the tournament team, the season continues through district playoffs and can culminate with the Babe Ruth World Series.

To be eligible to play the player needs to be 11 years old by May 1,2010.

Listed below is information about our program.

 

The in house league is played down at the Narberth playground on Saturday with the first game starting at 10:00am and the last game finishing at 2:30. The intraleague games are played down Narbeth Park or over in Havertown at West Gate field.

The league will run from March 27, 2010 through June 13, 2010.

Before the teams are drafted, there will be a skills assessment down at Narberth playground. Coaches will assess the players. The skills assessment took place on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at St. Joseph's University from 10:00am until 12:00 noon. Your child will be assigned to a team after the skills assessment. We do not honor teammate requests.

The cost is $105 per child. There is no family rate for this league. If you have a child playing t-shirt and a child playing softball, each program is separate and has a separate fee. Active charges the NAA a non-refundabe fee per registration, which will NOT be re-imbursed when a refund is issued.

Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken are requiring our coach and assistant coach volunteers to be certified coaches. NAA will reimburse each volunteer after he or she completes the course. The fee is $20. You do not have to take the course in one sitting. You can break it into pieces. * NOTE- If a refund is issued due to player withdraw, the refund will NOT be 100% refund of the registration fee. It will be $25 less due to the cost of a uniform plus the non-refundable registration fee.
