What do you do in practice?
Coaches reinforce and teach players the main baseball fundamentals:  Proper throwing mechanics, proper stance and hitting fundamentals, basic fielding skills, above-the-waist catching, and base running.

How do games work?
The Major division abides by the Cal Ripken rules.  The rules are listed in "Coaches information" on the NAA home page.

What do players need to bring?

A baseball glove & water bottle. Players should wear baseball pants.  Do not wear shorts - players in this division are taught to slide into the base.  We recommend players wear baseball cleats, but sneakers are acceptable.  The team shirt, baseball hat, pants, belt and socks will be distributed at the first team practice.  Players are welcome to bring their own baseball bats, batting gloves and helmets.

Team placement

We do not honor teammate requests.

Volunteer Coaching

If you would like to volunteer to coach a team, please enter the information requested in your child's registration.  We will contact you to let you know if you will be coaching a team.  For each division, we are looking for 2 to 3 co-coaches for each team.

We require the 3 background checks which are listed under "Coaches Information" on the left side of home page.
