SKILLS & DRILLS

THIS IS RECREATIONAL PLAY, FOCUSING ON LEARNING BASIC SKILLS DURING FIRST 30 MINS & FUN PLAY for 45 MINS.

Who can play?  boys and girls who are 7, 8, 9 & 10 yrs old

Location:  Narberth Park fields

Registration fee:  $55.00 

WE WILL CHARGE REGISTRATION FEE AFTER 1st SESSION.

TWINS - Only one fee for one of the twins

Your child's registration fee will be discounted if you coach to $30.00

Time: 10:00 to 11:15 am

What do players need?  

A baseball glove & cleats are optional. 

The team shirt and hat are distributed at first practice. 

Players are welcome to bring their own baseball bat, batting gloves and helmet.  Narberth will provide bats and helmets to be shared.

What do you do in skills & drills?

Coaches i teach players the main baseball fundamentals in 30 minutes drill format: basic throwing, hitting, fielding & catching skills in drill formant for 30 minutes.   Then a 45 minute game will be played.

We emphasize having fun together as a team, learning positive sportsmanship, and developing players’ confidence in their athletic abilities.

How do games work?  

45 minute game are a combination of adults/HS students pitching.  

What about drop-offs?   

At this age group, each player must have a parent/adult present.

Volunteer Coaches

Your child's registration fee will be discounted if you coach to $30.00

If you would like to volunteer to coach a team, please enter the information requested in your child's registration.  We will contact you via email to let you know if you will be coaching a team.   For each division, we are looking for 2 to 3 co-coaches for each team.  

We require all coaches to attend a mandatory coaches meeting.  We require the 3 background checks which are listed under "Coaches Information" on the left side of home page.
